Attending The 2025 Banjarmasin HPN, Minister Of Culture Fadli Zon Awarded The Poems Reading Contest Winner

The arrival of the Minister of Culture (Menbud) Fadli Zon at Sjamsuddin Noor Air Base, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan was greeted by the subsidence of heavy rains that flushed Lapangan, Saturday, February 8.

Menbud Fadli plans to give prizes to the winners at the Thousand Sungai Poem Contest in the context of National Press Day at the Gala Dinner event at Mahlihai - South Kalimantan Governor's Office, Saturday, February evening.

Fadli Zon boarded a Citilink commercial plane arriving at 11.00 WIT along with the arrival of two high-ranking officials from other countries, MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani and Food Coordinating Minister Zulkifli Hasan. The last two officials boarded a private plane.

According to PWI Secretary General Iqbal Irsyad, Fadli Zon welcomed the awarding of awards to the winners of the poetry competition held by Wetland Square in the context of HPN. The interest in reading poetry is beyond expectations. According to Benny Benke, one of the organizers, there were dozens of participants.

Fadli Zon himself is also known as a fan of poetry, which once went viral with his "political poetry" in the Joko Widodo era. The women of the Journalists Family Association (IKWI) also seemed enthusiastic about participating in a competition called the "Sibu Sungai Poem Contest" because the South Kalimantan region was dominated by upstream large rivers. One of them is the Martapura River.

On this occasion, HPN in South Kalimantan was followed by PWI from 30 provinces. The day before, the SIWO National Working Meeting was also held, followed by sports journalists from 30 provinces from a total of 38 plus 1 special branch (historism) Solo.
