Breaking The Record, This Chinese Chef Creates Thinest Noodles In The World With A Diameter Of 0.18 Millimeters

JAKARTA - A chef from China, Li Enhai managed to set a world record by creating the thinst noodles in the world. The noodles made are only 0.18 mm thick, even thinner than a human hair.

Reported by VOI from the Hindustan Times page on Saturday, February 8, to reach this record, Li uses traditional hand cutting techniques with extraordinary accuracy.

Guinness World Records (GWR) confirmed that Li managed to reclaim his record, after beating the previous record holder by 0.04 mm.

Previously, Li first set this record in 2010 on Italian television show Lo Show Dei Record, by making noodles as thick as 0.33 mm.

After years, he returned to the event in 2024 and successfully reclaimed the title as 'Super Thin King Mie'.

This new record went viral in cyberspace and sparked various reactions from netizens. Many were amazed by Li's skills, but some compared her thin noodles to India's signature, Soan Papdi, which is famous for its fragile and soft texture.

"I have to admit, this is amazing!" commented the netizen.

"What's new here? Try coming to India and feeling Soan Papdi, this is the same," wrote another netizen.
