For The Sake Of Comfort, JIS Manager Urges Seventeen Concert Spectators To Take Public Transportation
The stadium management appealed to the audience at the Seventeen music group concert which will be held at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) to take public transportation for the sake of security, comfort and safety.
Head of SBU Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Shinta Syamsul Arief, explained that the K-Pop concert requires special attention related to crowd management, accessibility, and supporting facilities for spectators, given the high enthusiasm of fans.
JIS, he said, had coordinated with promoters and organizers to ensure all operational aspects could run well.
"And the audience is advised to use public transportation on their way to the concert. This aims to reduce traffic density and minimize congestion around the JIS area," Shinta said in a statement, Saturday, February 8.
Some of the recommended public transportation options include MRT, TransJakarta, and KRL. This transportation is considered to be able to take spectators to locations more efficiently.
In addition, spectators are expected to arrive early to avoid long queues and ensure the security check process runs smoothly. Spectators are also expected to comply with all applicable regulations, including not carrying prohibited items such as sharp weapons, glass bottles, or flammable materials.
"In order to anticipate the large number of spectators, JIS cooperates with the police, security officers, and related agencies to regulate strict security systems," said Shinta.
Several steps have been prepared by JIS, namely conducting layered Security checks. Shinta said that each audience will go through a strict security check process, including inspection of luggage, to ensure that no malicious or prohibited items are brought into the venue.

"Then, there is traffic regulation. The traffic control system around JIS will be optimized to avoid congestion and ensure that the flow of vehicles runs smoothly," said Shinta.

"Furthermore, JIS urges spectators to use public transportation to reduce traffic density and minimize environmental impacts," said Shinta again.
