Kambosos Jr. Enthusiastically Duel With Daud Jordan
JAKARTA Boxer from Australia, George Kambosos Jr, was so enthusiastic about the fight against Indonesian boxer Daud Jordan in his hometown of Sydney. The clash between the two names will take place at the Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, Australia, on March 22, nearest. They got into the ring for the world title race in the super lightweight class.
This is Kambosos Jr.'s first fight in his hometown after eight years. He last fought there in 2016 against Brandon Ogilvie.
"Eight years out there and finally I was able to return to competing in my hometown in Sydney, Australia," the 31-year-old fighter said as reported by Boxing Scene.
Kambosos Jr. recently signed a contract with Matchroom, a well-known promotion company from England run by famous promoter Eddie Hearn.
After the collaboration, Kambosos Jr. also revealed his plan to move up to the junior welterweight and finally he was given the opportunity to make his debut against Daud Jordan.
"Going up the division and making a super lightweight debut in front of my fans in the overcrowded Sydney arena is my always-ending comeback," Kambosos said.
Kambosos Jr further said that the fight against Daud Jordan would be his opportunity to inspire and entertain his loyal fans who have supported him so far.
"Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney will be a stage for me to make a statement in front of fans in my hometown. I see this as proof of the resilience of a celebration of my return," he said.

This is the 49th fight in Daud's long career. He has an impressive record of 43 wins (31 knockouts), four defeats, and one no decision in 2009 against Robert Gu Way.
Daud was recorded to have his last duel in September last year against Heranan Leandro Carrizo from Argentina. In the clash over the IBA version of the world title, Daud managed to secure a knock-out (KO) victory in the eighth round.
The clash between Daud and Kambosos Jr. will last for 12 rounds. Kambosos Jr. himself is a former lightweight world champion IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO.
Apart from being younger, Kambosos Jr. also comes with a record that is no less good. He has a record of 21 wins (10 KOs) and three defeats.
In addition, he has also won world titles for four world boxing bodies. Another factor that benefits Kambosos Jr is that he fights at home.
