Ferran Torres Gives Wounds To Former Club, Prays Valencia Get Out Of Problem
JAKARTA - Ferran Torres became an important actor in Barcelona's victory over Valencia 5-0 in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals at Mestalla, Friday, February 7, 2025, early morning WIB.
The winger, who was plotted as the center forward in that match, scored three goals. The first two goals put Barcelona 2-0 up when the game had only been running for 17 minutes, before he contributed his last goal in the game in the 23rd minute.
It was a bitter hat trick for Torres as he did it against his former club, who is now knocked out of the Copa del Rey and is struggling to stay in La Liga.
His third goal in the 30th minute was a signal for some Valencia supporters to leave, while others remained to protest against club ownership.
