Daud Jordan Will Duel With George Kambosos In Australia
JAKARTA The famous Indonesian boxer, Daud Jordan, will enter the ring next month against Australian fighter George Kambosos Jr, for the world title race in the super lightweight class.
The fight between the two names will take place at a place from Kambosos, Sydney, Australia, precisely at the Qudos Bank Arena on March 22, 2025.
Daud said that he was still actively practicing for the fight in the midst of his busy schedule as a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia.
"For me, this is not an extraordinary thing because I have been used to dividing my time in a disciplined manner," Daud said in a written statement received by the media.
This is the 49th fight in Daud's long career. He has an impressive record of 43 wins (31 knockouts), four defeats, and one no decision in 2009 against Robert Gu Badminton.

Daud is recorded to have his last duel in September 2024 against Hernan Leandro Carrizo from Argentina. In the clash over the IBA version of the world title, Daud managed to secure a knockout victory (KO) in the eighth round.
The clash between Daud and Kambosos Jr. will last for 12 rounds. Kambosos Jr is a former lightweight world champion IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO.
37-year-old David is clearly six years older than his opponent. However, he is confident and has extra motivation to win their meeting.
"I feel I am still capable and far from finished in the world of boxing. I will prove that my age is not a barrier to fight competitively at the world level."
"I will come, fight, and go home with the title of victory," he said.
Apart from being younger, Kambosos Jr also comes with a record that is no less good. He has a record of 21 wins (10 KOs) and three defeats.
In addition, he has also won world titles for four world boxing bodies. Another factor that benefits Kambosos Jr is that he fights at home.
