Megawati Helps Redmen Return To The Way Of Victory
JAKARTA Megawati Hanggestri Pertiwi contributed greatly when Redmen returned to winning ways by defeating Hyundai Hillstate in South Korea's V-League continued match.
The Jember volleyball player scored 26 points to help his team win 3-1 (25-20, 20-25, 25-16, and 25-14) at the Chungmu Gymnasium on Friday, February 7, 2025, evening WIB.
The number of points made by Megawati is the second most in this match. He is two points adrift of his teammate Vanja Bukilic who managed to get out as the top scorer of the match.
This victory also broke the bad record of the team made by Ko Hee-jin. In the previous two matches, they have lost against AI Peppers and Pink Spiders in a row against AI Peppers.

Overall, this is the 18th victory Red totaled this season out of a total of 26 matches that have been played. They are now in third place in the standings.
The latest victory made Megawati and her friends collect 50 points. They cut the distance between points with Hillstate in second place which has collected 53 points so far.
As for the top position, it still belongs to Pink Spiders who collect 61 points with the same number of matches. This team has occupied the position since the beginning of the season.
Red Marijuana will then undergo a match against IBK Altos on February 12, 2025. Meanwhile, Hillstate will face Hi Pass the day before.
