Pertamina Patra Niaga Kalimantan Guarantees Safe North Kalimantan LPG Supply

TARAKAN Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Kalimantan ensures that the supply of 3 kilograms (Kg) of LPG from Pertamina, to the official base will be in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET).

Area Manager Communication & CSR Kalimantan Edi Mangun said Pertamina had coordinated with various parties such as Disperindag, local government, city/district government, Hiswana Migas to local Law Enforcement Officials (APH), to monitor the distribution of 3 kg LPG on target and selling price in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) set.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed and doing everything possible so that people receive subsidized LPG according to their rights. We also urge the public to buy 3 kg LPG at the official base at a price according to HET," said Edi Mangun, Friday, February 7.

"As part of the distribution optimization strategy, currently there is a sub base LPG that functions to support smooth distribution and make it easier for people to get LPG 3 Kg," he added.

This sub base was previously a LPG retailer registered with the Pertamina Merchant Apps (MAP).

"With the government's policy of optimizing the role of retailers in the distribution of LPG, people in the regions can get 3 kg of LPG more easily and in accordance with its designation," he said.

Pertamina guarantees that 3 kg LPG is always available at prices according to government regulations.

Pertamina appealed to the public not to panic buying, as well as to prepare build up stocks and facultative if at any time needed to keep distribution in the community safe.

"Currently, the realization of the distribution of 3 Kg LPG in the North Kalimantan region as of February 6, 2025 is around 357,080 tubes, with an average daily distribution of 11,902 tubes," he explained.

Pertamina invites the public to be able to use LPG according to its designation, where LPG 3 Kg is a subsidy product specifically for underprivileged people.

It is also reminded to use Non-Subsidized LPG such as Brightgas 5.5 Kg and 12 Kg for the capable and non-micro business actors.
