In addition to having an impact on the kidneys, high consumption of salt, flavoring, and chili can also cause digestive problems. The convex is the first organ to be affected by excessive consumption of spicy foods and flares, which can cause stomach irritation to increase the production of stomach acid.

"Consumption of spicy food continuously can cause stomach irritation. Although the effect on the kidneys is not immediate, digestive disorders such as stomach acid rise are problems that first appear," he added.

To maintain overall kidney and body health, dr. Lingga recommends that people start limiting the consumption of salt, sugar, and excess fat. In addition, maintaining adequate water intake and exercising regularly is highly recommended.

"The type of exercise needs to be adjusted to age. If you are over 40 years old, choose lighter ones, such as leisurely walks or gymnastics. For younger ones, you can do sports such as badminton, basketball, or football," he concluded.
