Allegations Of Forgery Of EFishery Financial Reports, Bareskrim Will Hold Cases With Polda Metro-OJK
The National Police said that Bareskrim, Polda Metro Jaya, and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) would carry out a joint case title related to the alleged forgery of eFishery financial reports.
It is known that the alleged forgery of financial reports was carried out by an internal eFishery since the 2018 period.
"Later, a joint title will be carried out by Bareskrim, Polda Metro Jaya and OJK," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, to reporters, Friday, February 7.
The joint case was held because of reports related to the allegations that were submitted to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police and Polda Metro Jaya. The report was received around the beginning of 2024.
"Some of the reports have been carried out at the investigation and investigation stage," he said.
In the report there were two reported parties, they had the initials G and C. It is suspected that both of them were former president director or chief executive officer (CEO), Gibran Huzaifah and ex CPO of Chrisna Aditya's company.
"The suspects reported by G and C have been reported since early 2024," said Trunoyudo.
Referring to CNBC news, internal financial reports, eFishery collected revenues of IDR 2.6 trillion over a 9-month period, namely January-September 2024. Meanwhile, external financial reports show that eFishery earned 4.8 times more revenues worth IDR 12.3 trillion. Based on financial reports published for external parties, eFishery's revenue growth jumped sharply.
In 2021, worth IDR 1.6 trillion, then 2022 to IDR 5.8 trillion, and 2023 to IDR 10.8 trillion, according to documents received by CNBC Indonesia, quoted on Friday (31/1/2025). This figure is different in internal financial reports that show eFishery income of IDR 1 trillion in 2021, then IDR 4.3 trillion in 2022, and IDR 6 trillion in 2023.
Internal and external reports are also unequal for prior tax profit records. Based on external reports, eFishery posted a profit before tax of IDR 261 billion during the January-September 2024 period.
In fact, the internal report version shows that eFishery actually lost IDR 578 billion in the same period. From 2021 to 9 months in 2024, external eFishery reports show positive and stable profit before tax growth. Inversely, internal reports show that the company has continued to lose money since 2021. The worst loss in 2022 is IDR 784 billion. Then in 2023 amounted to IDR 759 billion.
