Shell Announces Selling Fuel Again After Vacancies In Supply

JAKARTA - Shell Indonesia has announced it is selling fuel products that have previously been empty for some time.

President Director & Managing Director of Mobility Shell Indonesia, Ingrid Siburian, in his statement revealed that currently the empty fuel stock is back.

"Shell V-Power Nitro+ today has started to be available at several Shell gas stations and other fuel products, including Shell Super and Shell V-Power, will be available again starting February 7, 2025," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, February 7.

Ingrid said that the procurement of Shell Indonesia fuel was previously carried out in stages.

"Shell Indonesia informs that Shell's fuel oil (BBM) products have gradually become available again at the Shell gas station network," continued Ingrid.

Regarding the products to be sold, Ingrid said that her party would provide information regarding fuel products at the Shell gas station network on a regular basis through the Shell Indonesia information channel; including websites, social media, and other customer service channels.

Just so you know, previously the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia said that the fuel vacancy at private gas stations was due to technical problems and was not related to licensing issues. Bahlil said that his party had given import permits to private fuel provider business entities.

"Maybe what is meant by this is that the ship has not arrived yet, this is just a ship issue," said Bahlil.
