This Is A List Of Infrastructure Projects Of The Ministry Of Public Works That Are Canceled Due To Budget Efficiency
JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo said that a series of infrastructure development projects had to be canceled due to the Ministry of Public Works' budget cuts in the 2025 State Budget.
Dody revealed that initially the Ministry of Public Works budget allocation ceiling in 2025 was IDR 110.95 trillion, then required to make efficiency of IDR 81.38 trillion or around 73 percent.
So that currently the Ministry of Public Works budget remaining in the 2025 State Budget is IDR 29.57 trillion, after efficiency based on Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2025.
"Following up on the budget efficiency in 2025, we have canceled several physical activities, infrastructure development and the implementation of non-priority activities," said Dody during a working meeting (Raker) with Commission V of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, February 6.
The efficiency of spending is also carried out in addition to personnel expenditures of IDR 3.35 trillion. Activities sourced from foreign loans, foreign grants, pure rupiah, assistants, SBSN and PNBP amounting to IDR 16.30 trillion.
"After we subtract all of that, the Ministry of Public Works' infrastructure expenditure in 2025 is IDR 22.3 trillion or around 24.56 percent of the initial ceiling of IDR 90.93 trillion," he said.
The following is a list of infrastructure projects that have been canceled due to Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025 related to budget efficiency:
1. Water Resources (SDA): IDR 27.72 trillion
- Construction of 14 dam units, 1 direction building for the Rukoh Dam and revitalization of lakes and lakes
- Construction of 9,550 hectares and rehabilitation of 29,000 hectares of irrigation networks
- Construction of raw water infrastructure (capacity of 1.25 cubic meters per second)
- Flood control development (19 kilometers), coastal safety (4.5 kilometers), lava control and sediment
- Operations and maintenance of infrastructure as well as P3TGAI (12,000 locations)
- Land acquisition
- Management and other technical support.
2. Highways Sector: IDR 24.83 trillion
- Construction of 57 kilometers of roads as well as capacity building and preparation for an increase of 1,102 kilometers of roads
- Construction and duplication of bridges (5,841 meters), suspension bridges and bridge preservation (126,000 meters)
- Construction of flyovers/underpasses and tunnels (94 meters)
- Construction of expressways (7.36 kilometers)
- Road routine preparation (47,603 kilometers), bridge (563,402 meters) and labor-intensive (24,600 workers)
- Technical support and management.
3. Cipta Karya Sector: IDR 7.75 trillion
- Development and increase of SPAM (40 liters per second), expansion of SPAM (863 house connections) and IBM (Hams 600 locations)
- Wastewater Management System (10,240 families), waste (9,540 families) and IBM (Sanimas 1,400 locations, LPK 825 locations and TPS3R 100 locations)
- Regional development (118.5 hectares), structuring of tourism areas (3.0 hectares) and IBM (PISEW 900 locations)
- Building (9 units), structuring buildings and the environment (13 areas)
- Management and other technical support
