Synopsis Of The Spirit Marriage Film, Morgan Oey Keeps Family Secrets From Zulfa Maharani

JAKARTA - Morgan Oey and Zulfa Maharani will compete in the latest films produced by Entelekey Media Indonesia and Relate Films which have just officially released official trailers and posters for their latest horror film, The Butterfly House.

Perlita Desirei, producer and founder of Relate Films, expressed her pride for the final results of the trailer and poster for this film.

"We are very happy with the final results of the poster and trailer. We not only want to make a scary horror film, but also present a story rooted in culture and trust," said Perlita Desiani in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, February 5.

"This film explores how Chinese traditions can become beautiful and scary," said Perlita.

Meanwhile, Patricia Gunadi, President Director of Entelekey Media Indonesia, added that Spirit Marriage (The Butterfly House) brought an approach that had not been explored much in Indonesian horror films.

"This film is different from most horror films. We call it an 'horror magnitude,' where fear arises from a strong atmosphere, not just a jumpscale," explains Patricia.

Spirit's wedding tells the story of a future husband and wife, Salim (Morgan Oey) and Tasya (Zulfa Maharani), deciding to move their pre-wedding photo process to Salim's family home after Salim's aunt, Salim's only family, recently died.

In addition to having to take care of his aunt's funeral, Salim apparently had to continue his family's ritual to burnratings every day at a mysterious altar or his life would be threatened.

Their presence and the pre-wedding photo team at home made the ancestral spirit of Salim who died during the Japanese occupation appear and terrorize them.

Tasya was moved to unravel the mysteries of the past of Salim's family to be able to calm the spirit, as well as free her future husband from his obligation so that they could leave the house.
