Debt Collector Victims Of Debtor Treatment In Matraman Will Be Questioned By Police

JAKARTA - Debt Collectors who are victims of accepting motorbike debtors will undergo further investigations by investigators at the Menteng Police Headquarters on Thursday, February 6.

The victim with the initials R alias A had previously made a police report at the Menteng Metro Police, but the BAP had not yet carried out.

"Yesterday he (the victim) asked for a break first. (the victim) was willing to come today to be at the BAP," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Metro Police, AKP Marganda Siahaan when confirmed.

The victim has also done a post-mortem on the head of the iron blow he suffered. The victim of a post-mortem at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital Emergency Room.

"Yesterday's reporter was post-mortem and made a police report, but we haven't checked yet," he said.

However, the police have conducted an investigation regarding the abuse case experienced by debt collectors. Meanwhile, the perpetrator is still under investigation by the Menteng Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit.

"We have not secured the perpetrators, they are still investigating," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a woman and several debt collectors were beaten by debtors while collecting debts at her home on Jalan Matraman Dalam 1, RT 02/08, Pegangsaan Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta.

The victim with the initials R alias A reported the incident to the Menteng Metro Police. The victim has also undergone an examination by the Menteng Metro Police investigation team.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Metro Police, AKP Marganda Siahaan, confirmed that the victim had made a police report.

"Initially, Mrs. with the initials A from the NSC Finance leasing and the debt collector wanted to collect from the debtors of Matraman residents. The bill was in the form of a motorcycle arrears bill," said AKP Marganda when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, February 5, afternoon.

Apparently, the arrival of the debt collector made the debtor furious. Even though the debtor has been in arrears for 4 months.

"The motorcycle collection has been in arrears for 4 months," he said.

Debtor in an angry condition also went berserk. Then the debtor hit victim A's head.

"Arriving at her husband's house, the debtor was angry and hit A's mother with iron and chased another debt collector," he said.
