The Indonesian Automotive World Will Be Enlivened By A New Brand From China At IIMS 2025

JAKARTA - The Indonesian automotive industry has again received a new brand from China, namely Honri. The brand will mark its steps in the archipelago's country market through the upcoming Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025.

Honri will be present at the Indonesian automotive market under the umbrella of Utomocorp as a brand holder (APM) agent. In an event that lasted 11 days, the manufacturer will show off a tiny electric vehicle called Boma EV.

Utomocorp CEO Denny Utomo said his party would launch the product on IIMS on the first day and at the same time disclose more information about this car.

"We will be present at hall 3 and will reveal our products at a press conference starting on February 13," said Denny during his presentation at the APM presentation ahead of IIMS 2025 in Kuningan, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 4.

IIMS 2025 will be an event for other APMs in introducing the latest products to increase the choice of their customers.

The exhibition is an event for various manufacturers to show off with various mainstay models, and not only that, it is also the first stage for various new brands, especially from China.

Honri Boma EV has a design that resembles a generation of Toyota Alphard when but with a more compact design like the Wuling Air EV. This car shows a luxurious impression with a closed grip and some striking curves.

This mini-sized car is offered with two Manganese Cobalt (NMC) nickel battery options, namely 11.9 kWh which provides a range of 130 km and 18.5 kWh with a distance of 200 km.

Both battery packages have AC charging capabilities that can charge up to full charging in 7 hours.

The car entered the Thai market last year at a price of around 500,000 baht or equivalent to Rp242.9 million.
