Apple Overcomes Time Machine Reserve Bugs At MacOS 15.3
JAKARTA Apple launched macOS 15.3, the latest operating system (OS) for Mac devices, at the end of January. This OS update includes fixes for bugs at the Time Machine utility.
Some time ago, reports emerged that iOS 18.2 brought bugs that affected backups. This bug was originally only found in boostable backups, but it turns out that the problems that arise in Time Machine are more than that.
There is more than one bug that affects Mac backup. According to a SuperDuper report, developers from the Shirt Pocket app, they initially used their own code to back up Bootable Mac volumes, but Apple has locked them all.
In other words, Apple has revoked the ability of third parties. This makes developers, including SuperDuper, use the function of Apple's replicators. However, bootable backups failed and SuperDuper began to find the cause.

Once investigated, it was revealed that Apple's replicator code in macOS 15.2 kept bugs. This problem affects most systems and there is no improvement. There is no solution to this because Apple revokes third-party capabilities.
It's not just SuperDuper who claims to have found bugs in macOS 15.2. Several other developers have also reported backups of Time Machines that failed to damage. In fact, this bug is capable of eliminating the entire backup history.
Fortunately, Apple has launched the fix through macOS 15.2. For developers who had problems with the bug, they were able to overcome it by downloading the macOS 15.3 version.
