Unavailable Retailers, Tangerang Residents Still Queue For 3 Kg Gas Cylinders In Pangkalan

TANGERANG - A number of traders in Tangerang are still queuing for 3 kg gas cylinders at the gas base on Palem Raya Street, Cibodas, Tangerang City, Wednesday, February 5. In fact, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia allows retailers or sub-baselines to sell kg gas.

VOI monitoring at the location, Wednesday, February 10, at 10.11 WIB, residents consisting of traders were still queuing while carrying a 3 Kg gas cylinder.

Dwi as a rice trader admitted that he had been queuing since 06.00 WIB. Dwi admitted that he had not received any gas even though yesterday he had lined up in Kelapa Dua, Tangerang Regency.

"From 6 o'clock here, for sale. We couldn't make it yesterday, that's why we came here," said Dwi when met at the location, Wednesday, February 5.

Dwi said that the retailer near his house was still not available with stock of goods.

"There is still no where I am. There is no retailer yet, there is no stock yet," he said.

Previously, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia said retailers were now allowed to re-sell 3 kg gas with a new status as a distributor.

"On the direction of President Prabowo, the first is all suppliers, yes, we will function the suppliers that we have per day to become sub-baselines," Bahlil explained during an inspection in Palmerah, West Jakarta, Tuesday, February 4.
