Bank Mandiri's Profit To Increase Slightly 1.31 Percent Reaches IDR 55.78 Trillion Throughout 2024
JAKARTA - PT Bank Mandiri posted a net profit of IDR 55.78 trillion throughout 2024. This achievement was recorded to have increased by 1.31 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy).
"The independent bank posted a well-maintained performance with a consolidated net profit of IDR 55.8 trillion," said Bank Mandiri Finance and Strategy Director Sigit Prastowo in an online press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, February 5.
Sigit added that Bank Mandiri's non-interest income managed to reach IDR 42.32 trillion as of the end of 2024 or grew 4.12 percent yoy on a consolidated basis. The operating profit before the reserve was recorded at IDR 88 trillion or grew 3.77 percent yoy.
In terms of Third Party Funds (DPK) Bank Mandiri also recorded solid growth, supported by an increase in low-cost funds or Current Account Savings Account (CASA). Until the end of 2024, Bank Mandiri's DPK was recorded to have grown by 7.73 percent yoy to Rp1,699 trillion, driven by a significant increase in the gyro and savings segments.
The CASA portion reached 80.3 percent of the total DPK, reflecting the effectiveness of the company's strategy in optimizing low-cost funding.

CASA's growth was mainly driven by an increase in savings which grew 13.4 percent yoy to Rp665 trillion, and a giro that experienced an expansion of 3.6 percent yoy to Rp606 trillion.
"This success is inseparable from the optimization of digital services such as Livin' by Mandiri, which further facilitates transactions and financial planning for retail customers, as well as Kopra by Mandiri, which provides convenience in financial management for the wholesale segment," he said.
