Evidence Not Ready, Baim And Paula's Session Postponed Next Week

JAKARTA - Baim Wong's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid explained that his client's divorce trial with Paula Verhoeven was postponed until next week on February 12.

He explained that today's trial agenda should be proof of documents from Paula Verhoeven's side.

"Today should be the proof of the respondent, Paula, but earlier I received information from the panel of attorney judges from the court asking for a postponement within one week," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, February 5.

This postponement was submitted by Paula's side because it was suspected that she had not been able to attach proof of letters and documents during the trial.

"I don't know the reason, it doesn't seem like I'm ready, not yet a witness, still proof of letters and documents, not yet a witness," explained Fahmi.

Fahmi himself said that for witnesses and evidence from Baim's side, it had been completed, where his party had submitted a total of 83 pieces of evidence and 12 witnesses.

"Baim has finished. There is no more evidence, 83 pieces of evidence, 12 (witnesses) are enough," he explained.

In this trial, Baim Wong was seen absent because he had to take care of his latest film which was shooting in the Yogyakarta area.

"Baim himself is filming. He's a producer if I'm not mistaken, there are film activities in Yogya as far as I remember, which is clearly not in the Jakarta area. What is clear is that he asked permission today he could not attend because there was shooting activities," he said.
