Ratna Sarumpaet Responds To Police Calls, Ready To Prove Not Darking Grandchildren's Heritage

JAKARTA - Politician Ratna Sarumpaet underwent an examination of his grandson, Husin Kamil on suspicion of embezzling his son's inheritance, Iqbal Haldy at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit on Tuesday, February 4.

Accompanied by his attorney, Ratna said that his presence was to ensure that the allegations of embezzling the property were not true.

"Ensuring that I did not embezzle anything, moreover I am at home with my own son and confirm for my own grandson who reported me," Ratna Sarumpaet told reporters, Tuesday, February 4.

Ratna firmly said that as long as his son, Iqbal Haldy was still alive, Husin Kamil had no right to this inheritance.

"Recognizing that the property he questioned was not his property. It was the property of Iqbal, his father. As long as Iqbal was still alive, Iqbal's children were not entitled to that legacy," he continued.

Even so, the mother of Atiqah Hasiholan felt that Husin dared to do this because someone had damaged her grandson's way of thinking.

"Yes, it's okay. It's just fate. I can't blame him because as far as I know everything he told was a story when he was very small," he added.

"So there are those who damage his way of thinking and enter information that he really doesn't know," said Ratna.

During this examination, Ratna was examined since 10:00 WIB and asked 22 questions. He admitted that the examination had not been completed.
