And Nigro Reflects Travel As The Producer Of Grammy Winner Music
JAKARTA - Music producer from the United States, Dan Nigro came out as the winner of the Producer of the Year, Non-Classical at the 2025 Grammy Awards. He excels from four other names who are nominated, namely Alissia, Dernst 'D'Mile' Emile II, Ian Fitchuk, and Mustard.
This victory made Nigro join other major music producers who have also won this category, includingUS Jones, David Foster, Babyface, Rick Rubin, Greg Kurstin, Jack Antonoff, and many more.
Through an Instagram upload, Nigro tried to reflect on his journey as a music producer, which finally resulted in a prestigious award.
When I moved to Los Angeles 14 years ago, my goal was to become a songwriter. I've never opened Pro Tools before and also don't know anything about how to produce music," wrote Nigro, citing an upload caption, Tuesday, February 4.
"However, slowly over the years, with a lot of help from friends, and sitting with a lot of people asking a million annoying questions, I fell in love with musical and art production taking a little song idea and turning it into a complete production," he continued.
