Steal Attention At The World's Largest Tourism Exhibition, Indonesian Pavilion Books Transactions Of IDR 75 Billion
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Pavilion managed to steal attention at the largest tourism exhibition in the world, the 2025 Feria Internacional de Turismo (FITUR), by posting an increase in transactions of more than 50 percent.
In an exhibition held on January 21-26, the Indonesian Pavilion carries the theme "Kolase Nusantara" which is reflected in the popular Indonesian culture and tourism-themed photowall by well-known photographer Hendro Hioe.
The Indonesian Pavilion managed to attract the attention of around 3,300 visitors and recorded 1,034 business meetings between Indonesian exhibitions and potential partners, posting potential transactions worth US$4.6 million (Rp75,118,000,000), an increase of more than 50 percent in the 2024 FEATURE, quoted from the website of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tuesday, February 4.
"The increase in transactions and sales of Indonesian destination packages is in line with the growth of Spanish tourists to Indonesia, which rose 46 percent from 2023 to 2024," said Indonesian Ambassador to Spain Muhammad Najib.
This positive trend is also supported by the increasing interest of Spanish-speaking tourists, especially from the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Peru, to explore the beauty of Indonesia.
The Indonesian Pavilion presents 11 travel agencies that promote Indonesian tourism destinations, both to business actors through a business-to-business (B-to-B) cooperation scheme and prospective tourists through business-to-customers (B-to-C),
The main target market of this promotion is partners and tourists from the European region and Latin America.
In addition to promoting tourist destinations, Indonesian pavilions also introduce superior export products such as 'Incapto' coffee with single-orgin seeds from Sumatra, Indomie instant noodles, Kopiko candy.

Indonesia's participation in the 2025 FEATURE is expected to further strengthen the competitiveness of national tourism in the global market and attract more foreign tourists to visit Indonesia.
