Microsoft Adds "Recall" Feature To Outlook For Macs, Similar To Undo Send On Apple Mail
Microsoft brings an update for Outlook on Mac with a new feature similar to Undo Send on Apple Mail. This feature was previously available on Windows and web versions of Outlook, and is now being presented to Mac users.
This new feature is called Recall, but is different from the Microsoft Recall feature previously announced for Windows. The recall function in Outlook works like Undo Send in Mail which Apple first introduced in 2022.
With this feature, users can recall emails that have been sent if they realize an error, such as a typo or message sent to the wrong recipient.
However, there is a major difference between Recall in Outlook and Undo Send on the Apple Mail. Apple Mail uses a simple method by giving a pause of a few seconds before actually sending an email, so users have time to cancel sending before email output.

In other words, users can cancel sending emails after a few minutes, but this feature only applies to internal communications within companies that use Microsoft 365.
Currently, the Recall feature is still available in beta in Outlook for Macs and will roll out to all users in the upcoming update.
