Sea Pagar Case, Kohod Village Head Not Fulfilling Invitation To Clarify Police Criminal Investigation Unit
JAKARTA - The head of Kohod Village, Arsin bin Asip, did not fulfill the invitation to clarify the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The invitation was related to the handling of a case of alleged forgery of letters or authentic deeds related to the sea fence in Tangerang waters.
"So the village head, we have called but have not been present," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Tuesday, February 4.
Arsin's absence is not a big problem in the investigation process. Moreover, it is his right.
"Of course, if it's an invitation, clarify it's an invitation. So it can be up to not attend," he said.
Djuhandani emphasized that despite this, his party had found a criminal element in the case. Therefore, in the process of titled the case, it was decided to increase the status of the case to the investigation stage.
"But in principle, we have found a criminal act. If we find a criminal act, we will carry out an investigation later, we are ready, with forced efforts we are ready," said Djuhandani.
The case was held today. The process was carried out after investigators examined several witnesses.
Recently, there are five witnesses who have been questioned regarding the case. Two of them are employees from the Ministry of ART/BPN and one from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP).
"The five people are what I said yesterday, KJSB Lukman, then ATR/BPN (there are) 2 people, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, and the Tangerang Regency Bappeda," said Djuhandani.
Previously, investigators had also examined seven people, namely, the BPN Inspectorate, the former Head of the Tangerang Regency Land Office (Kantah), two Committee A people, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Head, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Dispute, and the Head of Tangerang Regency Determination Section.
Bareskrim Polri has actually been investigating the case of a sea fence since January 10, 2025. It is suspected that the application for a building rights certificate (SHGB) and a title certificate (SHM) in the sea fence area in Tangerang, Banten, used fake lyrics.
From the deepening, information was obtained that the sea fence area in Tangerang already has SHGB and SHM with details of 234 SHGB fields in the name of PT Intan Agung Makmur, 20 SHGB fields in the name of PT Cahaya Inti Sentosa, 9 fields in the name of individuals and 17 SHM fields from the girik.
It is suspected that the SHGB and SHM submissions used girik-girik and other ownership evidence documents that were allegedly fake.
