Writing Administrative Jokowi Decorates The Wall Of Jakarta

JAKARTA - Viral on social media with vandalism reading "arrest Jokowi" on the walls of the City of Jakarta.

The proliferation of wall graffiti with the words "Adili Jokowi" which colored the corners of the city of Jakarta, has drawn political speculation.

Responding to this, the Executive Director of the Indonesia Political Opinion (IPO), Dedi Kurnia Syah, was of the view that the wall graffiti was an expression of public dissatisfaction with Jokowi.

In particular, this could be interpreted as a signal of public dissatisfaction with the holding of the 2024 General Election, where Jokowi, who was still President of the Republic of Indonesia, was strongly suspected of intervening.

"Another part of the hidden corruption, collusion and nepotism (KKN) network carried out by Jokowi, the number of elite positions filled due to political contributions to Jokowi indicates the disappointment movement," Dedi told reporters, Monday, February 3, 2025.

For this reason, said Dedi, the urge to try Jokowi through wall graffiti is not an exaggeration. He gave an example of the warmest case regarding marine certificates, national strategic programs (PSN) that have the potential for massive corruption.

"This deserves to be used as a reference to try Jokowi," said the political observer who graduated from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

However, Dedi considered that public pressure to try Jokowi did not have to result in punishment for the father of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

"It's enough to explain whether Jokowi is criminally in power or not," he concluded.

Apart from Jakarta, graffiti on the wall that reads 'Adili Jokowi' also appeared in Medan, North Sumatra (North Sumatra).
