Commission XII DPR Supports Government To Improve Management Of 3 Kg LPG Distribution
Deputy Chairman of Commission XII of the House of Representatives, Sugeng Suparwoto, stated that his party appreciated President Prabowo Subianto's policy to reactivate the subsidized 3 kg LPG retailer per day to maintain the distribution chain to the public.
"We also support the Government's steps to improve the 3 kg LPG distribution governance system so that it is more targeted. However, while still paying attention to supply chains and distribution, it remains stable for the community," said Sugeng, Tuesday, February 4.
Sugeng said that Commission XII of the DPR also saw the sad implementation of the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) which was charged to mining SOEs in supplying the needs of PT PLN (Persero) power plants, which incidentally were used for the community.
Commission XII of the DPR, continued Sugeng, supports the implementation of DMOs for SOE needs that have a responsibility for meeting the needs of many people's lives such as power plants, and others to be required by all Mining Business Entities.
"And Commission XII of the DPR RI together with the Government have agreed that these provisions can be regulated in more detail in the Revision of the Law on the Fourth Amendment to Law Number 4 of 2009 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining," he said.
Commission XII of the House of Representatives also highlighted the rampant illegal gold mining activities in West Kalimantan, which are becoming increasingly massive. In fact, said Sugeng, his party received complaints regarding the backup of law enforcement officers against the perpetrators of illegal mining.
"We ask all institutions to bring order to their members not to protect illegal mining actors and to take firm action," said Sugeng.
Commission XII of the House of Representatives also paid special attention to the acquittal of the Pontianak High Court for illegal gold cases worth more than IDR 1 trillion in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan.
