No Problem The DKI Regional Budget Is Efficiency, Pramono: I'm A Fan Not Eating Many Snacks

JAKARTA - The elected governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung admitted that there was no problem if the DKI revenue and expenditure budget (APBD) was approved when he took office.

This is an instruction from President Prabowo Subianto. All ministries, institutions, and local governments are ordered by Prabowo to make budget efficiency.

"Essentially, the spirit for efficiency is the spirit that Bang Doel and I will definitely fully support," Pramono said while visiting DKI Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, February 4.

During his visit to the City Hall of DKI, Pramono discussed the cutting of the DKI Provincial Government budget allocation with the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta, Teguh Setyabudi.

"I conveyed what please be streamlined. Including the snack matters that my friends asked me, I am an adherent who does not eat many snacks," said Pramono.

Continuing, Teguh Setyabudi said that he had issued Governor's Instruction (Ingub) Number 2 of 2025 concerning Efficiency and Expenditure Adjustments for Fiscal Year 2025.

A number of reduced budget allocations include reduced official travel budgets, ceremonial activities, studies, comparative studies, as well as seminars and FGDs.

Then, the efficiency of operating spending that does not have measurable output, savings in food and beverage budgets, grants to more selective ministries or institutions, and adjustments to 2025 APBD expenditures sourced from transfer funds to regions.

"We map out which posts can be refocused, which may not be optimal later or not, we will temporarily star or block, so how much will we get later," explained Teguh.

"Later we will convey more or less that this mapping has a total of rupiah. Later we can also support strategic programs from the elected governor and deputy governor and strategic programs from the central government that have not been clear. Later the execution will be in Pak Pram's era," he added.
