Anticipating Overquasigues, Pertamina Asks People Not To Panic Buying Gas Cylinders 3 Kg
JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) asked the public not to panic buying in the midst of the implementation of the retail policy into a sub base.
Pertamina's Vice President for Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso revealed that his party will maintain the LPG quota distributed in accordance with the quota set by the government.
"We also urge the public not to panic, so just buy it as necessary. The sub base that has just received this increase can also buy it normally like a normal day," he told the media crew in Palmerah, Tuesday, February 4.
Moreover, he said, currently the government has allowed retailers to re-sell 3 kg LPG by changing their names to sub bases. There are at least 370,000 sub bases that will distribute 3 kg LPG to the public.
"But hopefully with 370.000 sub bases, people should have started to return to normal," continued Fadjar.
Fadjar also asked the public to buy gas according to their abilities. Just so you know, 3 kg LPG gas is only intended for poor households, micro businesses, as well as farmers and fishermen.

"Well, besides that, we hope that the public can also understand that they must buy non-subsidized ones or bright gases," he added.
Fadjar ensured that the Bright Gas stock provided by Pertamina was more than sufficient to meet the needs of households and non-subsidized industries.
"The stock that is bright gas so far is still enough, it's still more than enough so it's still safe. Including the 3 kilos LPG is also safe, the quota has no reduction at all," said Fadjar.
