SDIT Teacher In Mataram NTB Becomes A Suspect Of Sexual Harassment Against His Students
NTB - An Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) teacher in Mataram City with the initials MFB became a suspect in a case of alleged sexual harassment of his students.
"Yes, that's right. We have named the person concerned (the initials MFB) as a suspect based on the results of the investigation case which has found at least two pieces of evidence of sexual abuse against children," said Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim AKP Regi Halili, in Mataram, NTB, Tuesday 4 February, confiscated by Antara.
He conveyed that the determination of the suspect against a 30-year-old man from Batulayar, West Lombok Regency, was based on the letter of determination of the suspect Number: S.Tap/67/I/RES.1.4./2025/Reskrim.
MFB was named a suspect in connection with a case of alleged criminal acts of violence or threats of violence, forcing, committing deception, a series of lies or persuading children to commit obscene acts.

This is as stated in Article 82 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76E of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection jo. Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 17 of 2016 concerning the stipulation of Perppu No. 1 of 2016 concerning the second amendment to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection into law.
In the letter of determination, it was explained that the suspect carried out the action on Tuesday (12/24/2024), at around 11.00 WITA in the library room of SDIT which is located in Babakan, Mataram City.
Regi has not provided further information on the detention and examination of the MFB which has been named a suspect since January 30, 2025.
