Indonesia's Schedule At The 2025 Asian Winter Games Harbin
JAKARTA Indonesia took part in the ninth edition of the Asian Winter Games (AWG) by sending as many as six athletes.
The winter sports party will take place on 7-14 February 2025 in Harbin, China. This is the second time Indonesia has participated after appearing in 2017 in Sapporo and Obihiro, Japan.
Asian Winter Games returned to Harbin after nearly three decades with a record 34 participating countries and 1,275 athletes (775 men, 520 women). Harbin previously hosted the third edition of the Asian Winter Games in 1996.
Harbin 2025 will officially open at the Harbin International Convention Exhibition and Sports Center on Friday, February 7, 2025. The closing ceremony will also be held in the same place on February 14, 2025.

In total there are seven locations to host 64 match numbers out of a total of 11 sports participating.
The new sport in the competition at Harbin is mountain ski. The sport replaced jumping ski from the previous Asian Winter Games in the 2017 edition.
Bhutan, Cambodia, and Saudi Arabia will make their debut in Harbin. Afghanistan and Bahrain rejoined after being absent in 2017.
The Games will also be enlivened by Australia and New Zealand who attend as guests.
The six Indonesian athletes who go there will compete in three match numbers, namely figure skating, ice dancing, and short track speed skating.
They are Michelle Edgina Axille and Kelly Elizabeth Supangat (figure skating), Arsa Mizan Putra Firdaus and Marva Kayana Putra Firdaus (short track speed skating), as well as Tasya Putri Permatasari and Dwiki Eka Ramadhan (ice dancing).
