Fadia Will Return To Play With Apriyani Rahayu

JAKARTA Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti memastikan dirinya akan kembali pasangan dengan Apriyani Rahayu setelah dia menjuarai Thailand Masters 2025.

Fadia brought home the trophy from the Land of the White Elephant with Lanny Tria Mayasari after they won over the host pair Laksika Kanlaha/Phataimas Muenwong on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

After the victory, Fadia also confirmed that he would return to the duet with Apriyani, his partner before being overhauled with Lanny.

"After this in our individual tournament we will separate, I will rejoin Kak Apriyani Rahayu," said Fadia in an official statement received from PBSI Public Relations.

Fadia and Lanny were united as a couple in October 2024 and managed to win two titles together. Another title was obtained when he debuted at the Indonesia International Challenge in Surabaya.

As for when together with Apri, Fadia managed to break into the fourth place in the world. One of their prestigious titles is the Malaysia Open in the 2022 edition.

Fadia said that the changes to the formations recently carried out by the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) would not interfere with their focus on achieving achievements.

"We in the women's doubles will continue to give the best of whoever the partner is. We are always determined to contribute achievements for the Indonesian women's doubles," he said.

It is possible that the Apriyani/Fadia duet will take place on March 4-9, 2025 at the Orleans Masters 2025. The following week they will also appear in the world's oldest tournament, namely All England.

Apriyani and Fadia last appeared as a couple at the 2024 Paris Olympics. At that time their steps stopped in the group stage after having three games without a win.
