Indra Sjafri Sambut Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto At The Indonesian U-20 Coaching Staff
JAKARTA - The U-20 Indonesian national team coach, Indra Sjafri, shared the good news regarding the joining of the Indonesian football legend, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto, in the coaching team.
In this new threes, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto will serve as the attacking coach. His presence will greatly help Indra Sjafri in preparing a team to appear in the 2025 U-20 Asian Cup.
"Welcome to the coach @kurniawanqana at the U-20 Asian Cup Indonesia National Team," Indra Sjafri wrote on his personal social media quoted on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto is not a foreign figure in the Indonesian national team. He had been an assistant coach at the 2023 SEA Games projected U-22 which was also under the direction of Indra Sjafri.

Reflecting on this moment, Indra Sjafri warmly welcomed the presence of his assistant and was optimistic that he could repeat the success at the SEA Games.

Looking at Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto's career record, he is arguably a young coach who has a lot of experience. He was once an assistant coach at Borneo FC, head coach of Sabah FC, and assistant coach of Como U-19.
His experience as the main striker of the Indonesian national team is expected to sharpen Garuda Nusantara's attack line. Kurniawan's return is certainly an injection of enthusiasm for the U-20 Indonesian national team.
The 2025 U-20 Asian Cup will be held in China from February 12 to March 1, 2025. In that event, Indonesia U-20 joined Group C with Uzbekistan, Iran, and Yemen.
