Wow! Apple Capai 2.35 Billion Active Devices, The Numbers Make You Geleng-Geleng!
JAKARTA Apple has again set a new record in the number of active devices worldwide. In the first quarter of 2025 financial report submitted on Thursday, January 30, Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed that the number of active Apple devices has now reached 2.35 billion units. This figure is an increase of 550 million units compared to 2022 data.
Previously, in January 2024, Apple last revealed the number of active devices reaching 2.2 billion units, up 400 million from the previous year. Although this growth remains significant, the growth rate has slowed compared to the extraordinary spike that occurred in 2023.
One of the main drivers of this growth is the sales of the iPhone which is still very high, although it has decreased slightly compared to the previous year. This quarter, revenue from the iPhone was recorded at 69.1 billion US dollars (Rp1.1 quadrillion). Cook is also trying to attribute the growth of the iPhone to the Apple Intelligence feature introduced in the Apple ecosystem.
However, analysts have different views. They say that the growth in the number of active devices is driven more by various other categories of Apple products, including the iPad, Mac, digital services, as well as wearable devices such as Apple Watch and AirPods.
