Microsoft Adds Copilot AI To The Paint App
JAKARTA Copilot, Microsoft's artificial intelligence (AI)-based assistant, will be available on the image-making app. The app that just receivedpilot is Microsoft Paint.
Through its official blog, Microsoft explained that Windows Insider with the creation number 26120,3073 (KB5050090) on the Canary and Dev channels will receive the update. The addition of the Copilot icon to the Paint app will bring changes.
Although this update looks small, Paint will become smarter with the support of more advanced features. Thanks to Copilot, users registered in Microsoft's testing program can quickly complete image creation and editing.
"CICKing on the Copilot icon from the toolbar will expand to the pull-down menu where you can easily access the Cryptor, Image Creator, Generative Remove, and Remove Background features," Microsoft said on Friday, January 31, 2025.

Especially for Ccreator, this feature is only available to Windows Insider users on the Copilot Plus PC. To find out more about the function of each feature, users can see a short description in the drop-down menu.
Paint actually got the AI-based image-making tool last year. Microsoft has introduced a DALL-E-backed Cocreator by the end of 2023 and a generative charging option in the fall of 2024.
That way, Copilot not only brings new features, but features that already exist in one place. Management of this AI feature can make it easier for users to create images. It is not yet known when Copilot for Paint will be released widely.
