KAI Gives 50 Percent Discount For New Train Travel, Valid Until February 6

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) provides a 50 percent discount for the journey of five new trains on the 2025 Train Travel Graphics (Gapeka).

KAI President Director Didiek Hartantyo said this discount was valid from February 1 to February 6, 2025.

"There is a 50 percent discount from February 1 to 6. Please experience this new train," said Didiek at the Press Conference at Gambir Station, Friday, January 31.

Dokatakan Didiek, jalur ini mayoritas merupakan jalur dengan sifat aglomerasi yang menghubungkan beberapa daerah kota dengan jarekjalan yang lebih panjang dari jembata lokal.

Didiek gave an example, the IjenEkspres which connects Ketapang to Malang, East Java.

This train, he said, came after KAI received many requests from the public regarding the existence of the Executive Class Train.

"So KAI really listens to the aspirations of the people," he added.

Furthermore, the Gunung Jati train connects Gambir to Semarang, East Java.

Didiek said that the new trip increased the frequency of trains departing for Semarang.

"Because now the train to Semarang has a very high accumulation," said Didiek.

The following is the journey of the new Gapeka 2025 train which received a 50 percent discount:

1. Madiun Jaya train relationship Madiun Pasarsenen (PP), Executive Class and Economy.

2. The North Sancaka train is related to Surabaya Pasarturi Solo Balapan Cilacap (PP), Executive Class and Business.

3. Cakrabuana train for Gambir Cirebon Purwokerto (PP) connection, Executive Class and Economy.

4. KA Ijen Ekspres Ketapang relation Malang (PP), Executive Class and Economy.

5. Mount Jati train Gambir Cirebon Semarang Tawang Bank Jateng (PP), Executive Class and Economy.
