Xavi Simons Joins RB Leipzig With A Permanent Agreement Worth 50 Million Euros From PSG
JAKARTA - Dutch striker Xavi Simons has completed a permanent move to RB Leipzig.
The deal is worth about 50 million euros plus a significant number of bonuses.
Simons, 21, has been loaned to Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain since last season.
He has signed a contract until 2027 at the Bundesliga club and the deal can be worth up to 75-80 million euros in a number of bonuses.
"I've always said that I feel very at home in Leipzig. I am honored by the appreciation the club has shown me," Simons said in a statement on Thursday, January 30, 2025, local time.

The Dutch National Team player is considered one of the best young talents in Europe and has impressed at Leipzig.
Despite the ankle injury keeping him out for part of the season, he has scored five goals in 17 games so far this season plus four assists.
Simons spent the 2022/2023 season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, then loaned to Leipzig for the past one and a half seasons.
He has played 24 times for the Dutch National Team, scored three goals and recorded three assists.
