Ahead Of Eid Al-Fitr 2025, The Government Will Provide Airline Ticket Discounts

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the Government would resume economic stimulus at the 2025 Eid Al-Fitr moment, such as the aircraft ticket discount program. This is a continuation of a similar program that has been implemented during the 2024 Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

Airlangga said that by 2025 the government will also continue the national movement to control food inflation, and various stimulus programs such as plane ticket discounts to maintain the momentum of Indonesia's economic growth.

"The government encourages the stimulus on this Eid day with a program that was continued from the last Nataru program, namely discounted plane ticket prices," the Press Conference for High Level Meeting Results for the Central Inflation Control Team (HLM TPIP), Friday, January 31.

Then, the government will also continue the Every Purchase is Cheat (EPIC) Sales program, organizing Harbolnas, shopping in Indonesia Aja (BINA), discounting toll road rates, and stability of food prices.

Airlangga hopes that with these various stimuli, the government hopes that food inflation or volatile food can be maintained in the range of 3 percent to 5 percent

"The national movement to control food inflation will continue in 2025 to support food security, and besides that, the momentum of growth will continue to be maintained," he said.

In addition, Airlangga emphasized that the Government will continue to maintain inflation in the range of 2.5 percent plus minus 1 percent to support economic growth.
