YouTube Tests 4-fold Speed For Premium Customers

JAKARTA YouTube is rolling out new capabilities, completing a list of experimental features recently released for Premium subscribers. This new capability will affect the user's viewing experience.

According to an Android Police report, YouTube is testing a 4-fold speed for videos in a long format. This speed is very high, but it can make it easier for users to skip sections that are not important or boring.

Sometimes, speeding up the video by tapping the screen twice on the right side of the screen can jump the part that is not important. However, some information may be passed so you are forced to reverse the duration. In that situation, a speed of 4 times can be an alternative.

Users can continue to listen to the information provided without waiting too long. After reaching the desired part, the 4 times speed mode can be stopped. This feature can be tried and only available until February 26 on Android and iOS devices.
