Asdamindo Ready To Accompany Refill Drinking Water Entrepreneurs Get Certification
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Drinking Water Depot Association (Asdamindo) Erik Garnadi emphasized that he was ready to assist drinking water depot business players in the process of submitting certification that the business had met health and security standards.
Erik added that the association's commitment to helping drinking water depot entrepreneurs refill to increase hygiene and sanitation standards.
"We at Asdamindo are ready to provide assistance in the process of submitting certification so that it is easier for them to get official recognition of the quality standards that have been implemented," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, January 31.
In addition, he continued, associations also continue to strive to support depot entrepreneurs in maintaining the standards of cleanliness and safety of their products.
Previously, the Junior Expert Sanitarian from the North Sumatra Health Office, Dedy Lubis, emphasized the importance of cleanliness in the management of refilled drinking water depots, especially in the process of cleaning gallons.
"The gallon cleaning system is not easy. Especially if it's an old gallon. It's difficult if it's only cleaned with a simple cleaning tool. If it's not clean, it could still be the smell of soap and others," he said.
