PDIP Legislator Surprised Nusron Only Heavy Sanctions 8 Employees Of The Ministry Of ATR/BPN Related To The Sea Pagar Case
Member of Commission II of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Deddy Sitorus, was surprised by the attitude of the Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid who only gave severe sanctions to eight employees in his ministry regarding the mysterious marine fence case in Tangerang waters, Banten.
He also questioned Nusron's reason because the employee should have also been prosecuted.
"What is my question, why are these severe sanctions? Is this an administrative issue or a legal problem, sir?" said Deddy during a working meeting of Commission II of the DPR with the Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid at the DPR building, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, January 30.
According to Deddy, the imposition of severe sanctions in the case of a sea fence is not enough to have a deterrent effect. The PDIP legislator is also worried that the case of granting land rights such as the case of a sea fence in Tangerang waters will happen again if the perpetrators are not prosecuted.
"If it's just a severe sanction, sir, this will keep repeating itself everywhere. If only the inspectorate goes down, there will be no such thing as a deterrent effect," said Deddy.
"Yes, at most the heavy sanctions in my pocket are already Rp. 30 billion. If I eat the salary for how many years until I retire, I can't get Rp. 30 billion. That's all, that's all us," he continued.
Deddy assessed that the perpetrators in the case of the sea fence should be prosecuted. Because according to him, the issuance of hundreds of Building Use Rights Certificates (SHGB) and Ownership Certificates (SHM) in the Tangerang sea is a crime.
"I don't think it's enough just to have severe sanctions, it has to be a legal process because this is a crime, not malpractice, which only has consequences," said Deddy.
"I ask, please, yes, it has been a legal process, sir, so it can be canceled, because the matter of our gray space is very easy to manipulate, everything has a blow, everything can be done," he concluded.
