Good News From Purbalingga, 5,045 COVID-19 Patients Are Recovered

JAKARTA - The Health Office of Purbalingga Regency, Central Java informed that the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients in the local area who had been declared cured until Monday, April 19, 2021 was 5,045 people.

"According to the latest data, there are 5,045 patients who have recovered," said Head of Purbalingga Health Service Hanung Wikantono in Purbalingga, Central Java, as reported by Antara, Monday, April 19.

He added that according to the latest data, the total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the region was 5,372. Meanwhile, of the 5,372, 5,045 of them have been declared cured, 235 have died, 67 people are in independent isolation and 25 others are still being treated in a number of health facilities.

He said that his party continues to carry out regular data collection to get an idea of developments in the handling of COVID-19 in this area.

"The latest developments in the COVID-19 case in the Purbalingga area will continue to be updated and informed to the whole community," he said.

He also added that the data collection results are needed as a measure of the handling efforts that have been carried out so far, as part of efforts to control COVID-19.

He also said that his party continued to intensify a number of efforts to accelerate the handling of COVID-19, namely the 3T program and vaccinations.

These various efforts, he said, will be intensified during the month of Ramadan 2021.

"Efforts to deal with COVID-19 continue to be carried out while running the vaccination program which has been running smoothly until now," he said.

In addition, he said, his party is still intensively conducting 3T efforts, namely testing, tracing and treatment.

In addition, his party also reminded again that the implementation of the 3T program still needs to be supported by the implementation of 3M in the community, namely by wearing masks, maintaining distance and also washing hands.

"We also remind again that even though the current vaccination program is still running, health protocols still need to be strengthened, they must not be loose," he said.

He also said that in order to accelerate efforts to deal with COVID-19, the Purbalingga Regency Government requires immigrants who enter this area to show negative antigen test results.

"For migrants who enter this area even though the government has issued a regulation on the prohibition of going home, or for those who enter before the period of the ban on going home from 6 to 17 May 2021, it is mandatory to show negative antigen test results," he said.

He said the COVID-19 Task Force at the border entering Purbalingga would ensure that immigrants entering this area had shown negative antigen test results.

"Those who cannot show the letter will be directly tested on the spot, or if the conditions are not possible, they will immediately be asked to be self-isolated under the supervision of the village task force through the Jogo Tonggo program," he said.
