PSSI Cooperation With KNVB For 6 Important Points

JAKARTA The All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) and the Dutch Royal Football Association (KNVB) officially realized cooperation to support the development of Indonesian football.
This commitment was strengthened through an official meeting that took place at the KNVB Campus, Zeist, Netherlands, on Monday, January 27. This meeting continues the discussion that was previously held in Jakarta in September last year.
"PSSI is very enthusiastic about following up on previous discussions and focusing on the top priority in our football development program," said PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir in a statement received.
A total of six points will be the focus of this collaboration. First, the development of human resources to improve the skills and expertise of individuals involved in Indonesian football.
Second, the development of coaches by carrying out training courses in collaboration with KNVB, including the training exchange program between the two countries.
Third, developing young talents by providing opportunities for Dutch coaches to work with Indonesian junior national team players.
Fourth, increasing the number of matches, especially for the national team, including the junior team. Fifth, the development of women's soccer to strengthen the Indonesian women's soccer team.
Sixth, organizational collaboration, especially in establishing partnerships in the fields of administration, safety, event planning, and other important aspects in the development of football.
KNVB Secretary General Gijs de Jong said that he was optimistic about the future of this partnership.
