Naturalized Player Ole Romeny Will Undergo The Oath Of Indonesian Citizens On February 8

JAKARTA - Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas revealed the latest information regarding the naturalization process of Indonesian national team players. Supratman said players of Indonesian descent from Nijmegen, Netherlands Ole Romeny will be sworn in as Indonesian citizens on February 8.

Supratman said the Ministry of Law and Human Rights fully supports PSSI to bring the national team to compete in the 2026 World Cup. So that his party will certainly move the oath-taking of the player who was born on June 20, 2000 to strengthen the senior national team who will undergo the 2026 world cup third round qualifying match in March.

"Ole, basically we, the Ministry of Law, will definitely support PSSI and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The hope of the Indonesian people to appear in the world trophy is a fixed price," said Supratman, Wednesday, January 29.

"God willing, on the 8th of February, we will take the oath, hopefully, the process in the DPR will roll quickly," he continued.

Not only Ole, but the Ministry of Law and Human Rights will also take the oath of Indonesian citizens for two U20 national team players. They are the Geypend Team and Dion markx.

"The schedule on the 8th of the person concerned along with two naturalized U20 players will also be sworn in," said Supratman. As is known, PSSI is rumored to be processing the naturalization of two naturalized players besides Ole Romeny and Jairo Riedewald. Ole Romeny will soon become a player in the Indonesian national team because the naturalization process has been completed, even soon sworn in by Indonesian citizens.

PSSI is also reportedly ready to fly to England to speed up the oath of Indonesian citizens from Oxford United in order to strengthen the Indonesian national team in March 2025.

Then Jairo Riedewald will also be processed to play with the Garuda squad. The documents have been collected to undergo the naturalization process.
