The Latest RS7 Audi Will Use A Hybrid V6 Machine, Ready To Compete With BMW M5

JAKARTA - Audi is working to bring the next generation of RS7 as a direct competitor to BMW M5. One of the high-performance models in the Audi Sport lineup will be present in several changes, including reshuffles in terms of powertrains.

Launching from Carscoops, Wednesday, January 29, this car will carry a V6 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) engine as a substitute for the current V8 4.0 liter twin-turbo configuration at RS7 and RS6.

The RS7 model is rumored to be carrying the same V6 PHEV engine as the latest RS5. It is possible that this system will provide a power boost of up to 725 hp or exceed the BMW M5 which produces 717 hp through the V8 PHEV engine.

It was also reported that the latest Audi RS7 will be equipped with a Boost' function, providing an additional 50 hp for a moment acceleration. The manufacturer with the logo four rings will also provide a version of Performance as the highest type with a power of up to 800 cellphones.

It is likely that this latest model will carry PHEV technology that provides a similar range such as the BMW M5 which is capable of running with pure electricity as far as 70 km in one full disbursement.

Apart from machines, Audi will also carry out other tunings at this latest RS7. The car will have an active suspension system in the latest GT and Porsche Taycan e-tron models.

This active suspension technology is designed to provide better and sharp control, thus adding to the pleasure of driving even though the weight of the car is very heavy.

The German manufacturer will also provide a pure electric version of RS6 model with the naming e-tron' in the form of sedans and estates with a power of 630 hp generated from dual electric motors.
