Not Only Hunting For Escaped Prisoners, Muaro Jambi Police Propam Also Checks Guard Personnel
Jambi Police - Muaro Jambi Resort Police, Jambi Province are still pursuing a prisoner in a motor vehicle theft (curanmor) who escaped from the cell.
The Head of Sub-Division of Penmas at the Jambi Police, Kompol Amin Nasution, said that until now the police were still searching for escaped prisoners. His party has formed a special team to resolve the issue of the stolen prisoners who escaped.
In addition to searching for detainees, the Muaro Jambi Police Propam also examined the personnel guarding the cell when a detainee escaped.
"Propam Muaro Jambi Police is conducting an internal investigation," Amin said in Jambi, Antara, Tuesday, January 28.
If negligence is found, he said, then the personnel concerned will be given sanctions in accordance with applicable regulations.
The Muaro Jambi Police detainee who escaped was a prisoner entrusted by the Sekernan Police. The prisoner was involved in a theft case using a firearm.
The prisoner, named Zul, a resident of Sekernan, Muaro Jambi, is 26 years old.
Based on the crime scene, prisoners escaped by climbing the deck and breaking through the ceiling. This incident occurred on Sunday (26/1).
Head of Public Relations of the Muaro Jambi Police, Iptu Saaluddin, emphasized that currently the Muaro Jambi Police are still pursuing the escaped prisoner.
