Emilia Contessa Communicates With Denada Before Death

JAKARTA Sad news came from the family of singer Denada. Beloved mother, Emilia Contessa, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 18.00 WIB in Banyuwangi, East Java.

Denada manager, Risna Ories, revealed that although Denada rarely meets directly with her mother, communication between the two is well established and quite intense.

"When it comes to meeting, I don't know. But for communication, I'm sure Mbak Dena (Denada) communicates quite often with Aunt Emil (Emilia Contesse)," said Risna, quoted from Cumicumi's YouTube, Tuesday, January 28.

In fact, according to Risna, Denada had a chance to talk with her mother in the afternoon before Emilia died.

"Before he died, that afternoon there was still communication between Mbak Denada and Aunt Emil. Aunt Emil died around 6 pm," added Risna.

Risna also shared that Denada reminded her mother to maintain a diet, considering Emilia Contesta has a history of diabetes.

"It seems that that afternoon Mbak Denada had time to talk about his diet. He suggested, 'Mama, don't eat foods that can trigger blood sugar.' Then Aunt Emil replied, 'No, Mom just eats rujak,'" said Risna, recalling the conversation.

Hours after the conversation, Denada received news that his mother was rushed to the hospital. Not long after, at around 18.00 WIB, Emilia Contessa was declared dead.

This loss is a deep blow to the Denada family, especially given the close relationship between mothers and children that remains warm even though they rarely meet face to face.
