"The Traffic Unit concentrates on tourist routes, such as the Singosari Exit Toll Road to Batu City. The personnel on standby are a team of 40 personnel per day," said Andi.

Based on data from the police, the traffic conditions from the Singosari Toll exit gate towards Malang Regency and Batu City, from Friday (24/1) to Sunday (26/1) have been dominated by class one vehicles or private cars.

The number of vehicles passing out of the Singosari Toll Road is higher than the flow of incoming traffic, which is 44,313 units.

"The volume of vehicle traffic flows towards Batu City is caused by community activities towards tourist attractions, so it is necessary to anticipate efforts," he said.

In addition to the Singosari Toll exit gate, Andi said that team officers from the Malang Police Traffic Unit were also distributed to several other roads, such as Simpang 4 Karanglo, intersection 3 twin mosques or on Jalan Raya Ngijo, Karangploso, and Simpang 4 Kepuharjo.

Officers at the location, he said, would carry out traffic engineering if they found a buildup of motorized vehicle flow.

"For the route to Mount Bromo, the police there are already on standby by coordinating with related parties," he said.
