5 Member Fromis_9 Joins New Agency, 3 Out

JAKARTA - Five members of fromis_9 will continue their careers with new agencies. Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Lee Nagyung, Lee Chaeyoung, and Baek Jiheon officially joined ASND.

ASND announced the joining of five members through a new statement while three members of Lee Saerom, Roh Jisun, and Lee Seoyeon did not join the agency.

"It takes courage and thoughts to continue their group activities. We at ASND are very grateful to the artist for the courage and choose to walk this journey with us," said ASND.

We promise to provide support so that they can continue their dreams. We also hope that the performances and music made by artists will touch fans," he continued.

Furthermore, ASND explained that they were discussing with PLEDIS Entertainment regarding the use of the name fromis_9.

"We plan a variety of activities in 2025. Apart from showing album and music promotions, we are also planning group concerts to connect with fans," the agency said.

"We look forward to the support of fans so that every step can be special and shining. Thank you," concluded ASND.

Fromis_9 is a group from the Idol School event. Debut in 2018, they have been managed by PLEDIS since 2021.

In 2024, PLEDIS announced that fromis_9 would leave the agency as of December 31. At that time they reportedly discussed entering the BPM (Big Planet Made) but were denied by the agency.

On the other hand, it is not yet known that Lee Saerom, Roh Jisun, and Lee Seoyeon will join the same agency or a solo career.
