Isra Mi'raj-Imlek Holiday, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Operations 7 Additional Trains
JAKARTA - Seven additional trains (KA) are operated by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta. The addition is to serve various destinations in Java Island to anticipate an increase in the number of passengers during the Isra Mi'raj-Imlek 2025 holiday.
"The addition of this train aims to meet the high needs of the community during the long holiday period," said Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager, Ixfan Hendriwintoko, quoting Antara.
The additional trains in question are the Pasar Senen- Lempuyangan Additional Train (KA 10908) route Pasar Senen - Lempuyangan which operates January 23 - 30, 2025.
Then, the Additional Sembrani Train (KA 7010A) on the Gambir - Surabaya route Pasar Turi route operates: January 24-31, 2025.
Furthermore, the Gambir - Yogyakarta (KA 7004B) Additional Train on the Gambir - Yogyakarta route which operates from January 24-30, 2025.
Then, the Gambir - Yogyakarta (KA 7002B) Additional Train on the Gambir - Yogyakarta route operates: January 24-30, 2025.
In addition, there is an Additional Gambir - Solo (KA 7016B) train on the Gambir - Solo Balapan route which operates from January 24-30, 2025.
Then, the Argo Cheribon train (KA 30F) on the Gambir - Cirebon route which operates January 28 - 29, 2025.
Finally, the Argo Parahyangan (KA 40A) train on the Gambir - Bandung route operates from January 28 - 29, 2025.
KAI Daop 1 Jakarta recorded a surge in the number of passengers departing from Friday (24/1) to Sunday (27/1) reaching around 111,992 passengers.
This number consists of 41,809 passengers departing from Gambir Station, 47,779 passengers from Pasar Senen Station, and the rest from other stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area.

Ixfan said that from January 24 to January 29, 2025, KAI Daop 1 Jakarta provided 226,086 seats with 411 long-distance train trips (KAJJ) or an average of 69 KAJJ per day.
Of the 69 KAJJs, 36 trains departed from Gambir Station, and 33 trains departed Pasar Senen Station.
"The total number of tickets has been booked until this Sunday as many as 168,750 seats or 75 percent of the seats available," said Ixfan.
He detailed that of this number, 57,697 passengers departed from Gambir Station, 73,946 from Pasar Senen Station and the rest from other stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area.
