Weekend Long Holiday, 85,000 Tickets Sold Out
JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) recorded a significant increase in the number of passengers during the long weekend holiday period in the framework of this Religious Holiday. A total of 85,000 tickets have been sold out.
KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said the 85,000 tickets sold were for the departure period from January 24 to 29, 2025.
Of this figure, continued Eva, 44,000 tickets are passengers who have been dispatched from January 24 to 25 and the remaining 41,000 are the number of tickets scheduled to travel from January 26 to 29.
"This number is predicted to continue to grow, along with the enthusiasm of the people who take advantage of this long holiday to travel usingASH," Eva said in an official statement, Sunday, January 26.
Regarding the peak of the trip, Eva said, so far this has happened on January 25 with 22,000 passengers, of which all tickets from 24 trains of Halim Station departures to Karawang, Padalarang and Tegalluar Summarecon have been sold out.
Meanwhile, for today's departure, Sunday, January 26, tickets that have been sold until noon have reached 17,000 tickets.
It is predicted that the volume of passengers will still reach more than 20,000 per day until the lastUSH trip.
"To provide a more comfortable and memorable travel experience, KCIC continues to improve services atLAWsh stations," he said.
Several new initiatives were presented including the addition of new tenants at Halim and Padalarang stations. Various new tenants, including culinary, retail, MSMEs, are now present at various stations to meet passenger needs.
KCIC also provides a safe and comfortable playground for child passengers who want to spend time pending the departure time.
Various thematic entertainments are also prepared to create a more comfortable station atmosphere during this holiday moment.
